Information about the Richard and Sarah Allen Endowment Fund

The Richard & Sarah Allen Endowment Fund was created at the African Methodist Episcopal Church General Board meeting in Columbus, Ohio on June 25, 2007.  A Charles Schwab Investment account was opened on July19, 2007 to establish the Richard and Sarah Allen Endowment Fund in accordance with the General Board’s guidelines.  The purpose of the Fund is two-fold:  to honor our Founders and to create a source of recurring income that will benefit the AME Church for perpetuity. CASI has been chosen to manage all phases of the Fund.
